The EU Ecodesign for Sustainable Products Regulation (ESPR) entered into force on July 18, 2024 and sets general rules for environmental sustainability. The goal is to make products easier to repair, reuse and recycle. With Pinloc, you can dismantle for easy transport when moving, replace furniture parts if damaged, and it also makes it easier to separate materials once its lifespan is over.

The story

The standard, upgraded.

In the 1980s, computers were just finding their way into our homes, mobile phones were a novelty, and AI belonged to science fiction.

Today, everything around us has evolved. Almost everything. The same basic camlock connector is still the standard in flat-pack furniture.

We thought furniture assembly deserved an upgrade too. So we set out to remove the endless screwing, the sore hands, and the dreaded crunch of a board giving way.

Drawing on years of experience in the furniture industry – and listening to manufacturers and retailers – we developed an easy assembly connector that requires no changes to existing production lines.

That is Pinloc. The standard, upgraded.
